High School Linguists of Milwaukee are Milwaukee-area high school students who love puzzle-solving and/or who are fascinated by language. (We’ll take motivated and interested middle school students too.)

The group is the result of a collaboration between faculty and alumni of UW-Milwaukee, Alverno College, Marquette University, and the Milwaukee School of Languages.
See the flyer on the home page for contact information (it’s not posted here, to minimize spam).

Our main activity has been to tackle NACLO, the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad.
Register at http://www.naclo.cs.cmu.edu as soon as possible, and send e-mail to Joyce for info about upcoming practice sessions.
